Institute Name : Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Details :
Blinds are generally given stick to roam. However this makes them dependent on stick and a feeling that they are blind. What we want to give them is an independent life, where both of their hands will be free. They will be more confident. As per the census data there are 3.5 million blinds in the country with 30000 being added every year.

  2. Obstacle Detection – Detects any obstacle in the path of the person and if the distance of the obstacle from the shoe is less than 12 inches then the vibrating motor provides haptic feedback to the person.
